When you run full time class at Techron training college, they send a "year mark/class mark" to the department of higher education and taining wich will form 40% part of the final result. The final exam will form the 60% of the final persentage. A way to explain is if the student had 100% for the year/class mark it will count 40%(100 x .4) and 100% for the final exam it will give the remaining 60%(100 x .6). Add the 40% and 60% will give the final result wich will be 100%.
The point I want to make is how can a student get 22% final result point if he had 58% as year/class mark that was sent to the department.
58 x .4 will give 23.2% as part of the mark and the final exam will make up the rest. It seems as if he had negative 1.2%(-1.2%) for the exam wich is impossible.
It is of no use to ask for a re-mark because most studnents are still waiting for feedback from previous years exams.
Your help in this matter will be highly appreciated
Kind regards
