On the 28th of March 2023, I went to Golden Walk in Germiston. The lady at the front door took all my credentials (ID, surname, etc.). I then proceeded to sit down, and to my surprise, I sat for almost 2 hours with no help until one of the consultants came to where I was sitting and said to me, "Sorry, mama, your name was blocked for us to call you." I was so upset. I then proceeded to the consultant's desk, but the guy who was supposed to help me was not there. After 10 minutes of sitting and waiting, the supervisor passed by, and I asked her to please help me, as I had been sitting and waiting at Standard Bank for almost 2 hours. She asked where the person who was supposed to help me was, and I said I didn't know. The lady said I should sit there, but there was no one.
I was so angry that I got up and left then and there, while they said the guy was coming to help me shortly. The service from Standard Bank in Golden Walk is so poor. I went out and drove to the nearest Standard Bank in Eastgate. It was also full, but I was helped within 20 minutes.
