Yesterday morning I sent a e-mail to the "Employment Wanted" Department of the Caxton Group for an exceptional young woman who is looking for domestic work on the East Rand. This was to be placed in "The Benoni City Times". The ad was put into the format of a "WANTED" poster - with photo - so as to catch the Reader's attention!! Within less than an hour I had a response from Lynn with suggestions as to how I should re-word the ad and draw attention to the photo of the person seeking employment.
I gave Lynn the "nod" and, again in less than an hour, I was sent the "proof"! I agreed with this proof and within 30 minutes was sent the final Invoice for my ad to run for the next three weeks in hardcopy and on the looklocal website!!
Lynn and I really had a great chuckle doing the whole exercise and I would like to thank her for her great attitude towards her work and to total strangers via her e-mails!! Well done and, for the New Year ahead, I can only say "Go, baby, go!! "
If anyone on the East Rand who wants to put an advert in a Caxton local "weekly" I would highly recommend "talking " to Lynn on [Email Removed] - you will not be sorry! I promise!
