I was told that this place does is not priced just for the tourists but for locals. Firstly, way too expensive even for kids under 5, upto R8000-00 for an African carving which is completely not worth it, was told the experience would be unforgettable and the snake demo would be amazing. Wrong, 15min snake demo with 3 snakes, the snake enclosures are pathetic and below standard the restaurant is not even worth mentioning it is so bad. The cultural dancing is beyond terrible and all in native tongue, doesnt help tourists to understand. The Monte Casino bird is the same price maybe even cheaper and have visited it a good 10 times in 2 years and an example of what a park should be. For a days outing this is so ridiculously over-priced and the dancers still go around with a bowl asking for a donation. This is one way to rip off locals and the tourists, I would never pay upto 600 UK pounds for some of the stuff they sale and if they are selling they should be told not to rip the tourists off. As for spending the day there, never again and what to do after it has taken 1.5 to view the park and that was taking it slow. Would rather spend the money at Ushaka, now that's a day out.
