I just arrived at OR Tambo airport. The place is crawling with taxi touts, some quite aggressively pursuing business in the open. These people are NOT authorized, their vehicles are not always roadworthy, many are untrustworthy criminals, and they rip tourists off every day by over charging.
They blatantly pay off the cops who are supposed to chase them away.
It's only a matter of time before one of these illegal taxi guys gets some tourists killed, or delivers them straight into the hands of criminals. This HAS to stop!
