Splashout is a boat repair shop run by Mr Rudi Kerkhof in Durban. He was contracted in Jan 2012 to service my boat's prop shafts and engines lying in Seychelles. The engines were removed in March 2013. New parts were ordered and turbos were reconditioned in SA. Mr Kerkhof was paid R 45000 in July 2012 to complete the installation. He never went. It is now end April 2013 and he still promises to go. To get someone else will cost me R 40000 just for a quote and an assessment of the situation with stripped engines and parts in a warehouse. Mr Kerkhof plays the 'don't worry' I will still do it when I get hold of him. I am currently preparing a damages and case against him.
