Power goes out in Bridlepark area -Between Midrand and Diepsloot.
Thirty minutes go by, and I head towards the transformer to find 4 Eskom bakkies on blocking my driveway BUT having lunch!!!
When I queried them about the power shortage, typical South African answer. Eish, we'll check just now. Seconds later, Coke bottle and chips come out, the party continues at my gate, I cannot go forward, and they show no indication of moving out of the way.
Return into my house to get phone and take some pics. Get outside again, and 1 of the bakkies is gone. The rest still there having a lakker indaba at my doorway. Took pictures, complained to the call center, nothing is going to come out of it for sure. The ref number was 90016442.
Their number plates are: WHP470 GP, BN07ZD GP and XWF658 GP.
TO make matters worse when they finally left - power not restored of course - they left all the litter behind. Dirty brainless people whose salaries we pay!
NB I want to apologize to the poor call center girl who did not most likely deserve the angry words I used to describe the situation in front of my eyes. I can truly say that I am sorry, and none of the fgs I used was not called for.
