Not honouring the 10 year guarantee

The paintwork around the house has started to peel off, after approximately 12 months.
On inspection, the sales person stated that the 10 year guarantee is not applicable in this case due to rising damp.
The description of the process that was supposed to be followed from Wondercoat was not applied in this case. An outside company has confirmed this.
