I have viewed numerous advertisements within the Sunday times news papers and on job search sites specifying that Eskom has vacancies within my area of expertise.
I have tried numerous times continuously throughout the recent month and to no success registered on their website recruitment page.
The page does not allow me to move on towards completing my application and applying for the relevant job opportunity.
I feel as if it is a hoax. I also tried to phone their HR office but could never get through to the relevant department that communicated the vacancies. I believe that if this problem occurs with other applicants then Eskom HR staff is selectively recruiting candidates through personnel channels and such opportunities are not available to the public.
I am really disgruntled and have the experience and qualifications required for the position but cannot apply for the position.
I also believe that there should also be alternate methods other that via internet access for public to apply for such positions as such internet services are not affordable and accessible to all members of the public therefore i believe that process is very bias.
