SA Past Office Shocking Service

I placed an order on Appleberry for a product, i chose for the product to be delivered from Cape Town to JHB via Post Office, i would then collect it at the Ferndale Post Office in 3-5 days time. It has now been over a WEEK and my parcel is still in Cape Town as apparently there is a strike. I do not care if the world is going to end tomorrow, i paid for my delivery and was told a date and now that deal has been broken, i call the customer care and they are just as useless, no answers, no one can tell me when the strike will end. Only is SA you get greedy employees who will jeopardize the companies image to get paid more. Never again will i use the Post Office. All i want to know is when i will get my parcel, which was actually a gift, now it is late and i look like an!!!
