In Dec 2011 I brought two aluminium garden chairs to Henry's canvas for repair. I asked Allan if it will be suitable to refurbish with canvas as I am not fond of plastic material. I informed him that I intend to leave the chairs outside in the sun, as has been the case for almost 7 years. He told me that this will not be a problem and proceeded with the work. Once work was completed I placed them in my garden and did not use them for approximately two months. Thereafter when somebody sat on the chairs the canvas started tearing at the joint areas. I went back to have it fixed and after WEEKS I collected the now reinforced chairs. However, after this the chairs again starting to tear at another section. It appeared that the material was drying out and becoming brittle. I once again brought them back and was then promised by Naron that a solution would be found as it was bad advice originally regarding the material. I have told Naron that I wanted to refurbish with canvas, but to ask the expert if this would be a suitable material for my situation. This was confirmed and I agreed on the repair. However, it seems to get more frustrating as the responses and promises are non-existing!
