I took my mineral white BMW to Chips Away, Motor City Menlyn on c/o lois & garsfontein on 10 jan 13 for a minor bumper scuff. I specifically enquired whether they would be able to work with that paint and repair the scuff. The vehicle was left for a day. I collected the car and paid for same. However, the lighting in the shop was poor and I did not notice the disgusting, amateur paintwork. The paintwork is so poor that u actually see the difference in paint colour as well as paint drops. Also one can see that they worked out of the area that was scuffed, thinking the paint. The workmanship was that of worse than a toddlers coloring book. Looks like they took a paintbrush with ordinary white paint and painted it. In fact, it was only when I got out of the car that I noticed white paint on my paints and noticed that there was paint and scratches on the inside of the drivers door! All are cautioned to give this company a wide berth. My fairly new BMW now looks like a handpainted 70s cortina!
