Early in January I received a SMS from VPC stating that I owed them R389. I contact the call centre and spoke to Nolundi. I requested invoice and statement so that I could make a payment. She promised it would be sent. About a hour later I received a mail stating that I owed R1146.00. I contacted the call centre again, but this time I was not as calm as the first time. The lady I spoke to promised that she would look into it and let me know what the issue was. From then till now I have not received anything only mails like below
You have previously been contacted regarding outstanding tolls.
Please contact the e-toll Violations Processing Centre (VPC) on 0800 SANRAL (726 725) to ensure uninterrupted use of the Gauteng e-roads. Non-payment will incur the loss of discounts that may still be applicable.
And the only reply received from Nolundi when I sent a follow up mail was:
I'm sorry about that mom I'm going to find out why the taking so long
Firstly I am not her f... ing mom, and secondly it is quite clear the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Get your ducks in a row before sending threatening mails to people.
