How long does it take to repair a dropped link? We are waiting since yesterday 14h00 when the fault was reported. At 18h00 the help desk said they are in the vicinity and will be with us shortly. At 20h00 the help desk said they are almost finished and will attend to us shortly. At 21h00 the help desk said the request is in the hands off the head technician and he will help us before 22h00. At 22h20 I phoned and the help desks reply was "the technicians do not work this late any more, and they will attend to you tomorrow morning at 7h00. It is now 8h42 and no technician. We could have been just a next statistic in our "wonderful and save SA", because our whole security system came into jeopardy with Eskom and their promises. Our farm gate had to stay open for them to come, our alarm system, electric fence and roller shutters ran out of back up battery power. If a dropped link is not a priority with them, why do they not learn us as owner of the property how to replace it. Think off all the saved time for them to do what is more important than a dropped link!!!
