Lack of response. Customer Complaint

I reported dishonest, incompetent and possibly conduct on the part of one of their Franchise Branch in Polokwane. BB Auto Polokwane claimed that I needed to replace a R 15 000.00 handbrake after having the car in the workshop for 3 days. A sister branch (Tzaneen) not aware of the Polokwane Workshop assesment, claimed to have experienced this problem before managed to subsequently fix for R 900.00 in the space of an afternoon.

Renault South Africa, has been made aware, and apart from a half hearted defence of their franchise, has done little more to respond. It is no wonder you can hardly give away a Renault, when you want to trade the vehicle in.

It is disgraceful that Renault South Africa has so little regard for it! s customers, who have supported their brand for the best part of the past 20 years, that they would be quite happy to see customers being charged for parts that are perfectly repairable. That is why I traded my Renaultvin today at a R 70 000.00 loss on book value.

I am not holding my breath for any response from Renault South Africa.
