Peugeot Service Standards

I had my car service for 90, 000 km, change fan, fix oil leak and change 4 brake pads.
Paid R14, 000, open the bonnet and the engine was as dirty as when I took my car in.
I expected at least to be dusted and cleaned. I have phone customer service and I was told that is standard in the industry not to dust or clean the engines of cars.
Is that the standards that Peugeot keeps after spending R14, 000 not to be able to at least dust the engine??
Please someone confirm.
