SANRAL Call Centre and Billing

I am not a Gauteng resident and between 22 and 30 December had reason to use the R21 between Pretoria and ORT on a number of occasions. As I had not heard anything from SANRAL I decided to call. The Call Centre has got to be the MOST complicated ever conceived and I almost gave up hope of speaking to a "human". When I finally found one I was told be a friendly consultant that I was in violation and would have to go through to VPC (?). More confusing call centre options and more by good luck than good management spoke to another not so helpful consultant who stuttered and stammered her way through trying to tell me that I would now have to pay a fine and failed to understand my point of view that I couldn't be in violation of something that I hadn't been notified of. She could also NOT tell me when I would actually receive a statement. It I now a month since I went through the first toll gantry. All I want is a statement detailing each and every toll gantry that I went through with dates and times!!! As for the fine, forget it!
