I had been paying legal insurance for a number of years in the hope that should there be a legal emergency I would be covered. Boy, I was living an illusion. When something did happen I was left in the lurch. Incompetent legal advisors, no feedback/follow-ups from the call centre, run around for one year. Eventually when I was referred to a local lawyer and consulted with the same (after a month), I was told that they were waiting for feedback from FNB Law who had shelved the matter. Out of frustration I cancelled my policy. I was at a loss and in the process lost thousands.
I cannot understand why a bank would get involved in the legal profession and outsource this division to an outside useless company.
