Barloworld Motor Retail
Passing the buck

Opel Meriva Flashing F, at a speed of 100km/h, after 4 months the car is still not running correct.

Vehicle was sent in to Barloworld Centurion for a clutch replacement 12 September 2013. Barloworld Centurion handed the vehicle over to a subcontractor (Rex Diff & Gearbox, Boksburg) who at first didn't have a clutch available. Six weeks later, they replaced the clutch and returned the vehicle to us, with this NEW problem. Vehicle has been in and out of Rex Diff & Gearbox, Boksburg several times now. Barloworld has now removed themselves from the equation. When I handed my vehicle over to them and hold them responsible to ensure my vehicle is repaired to a satisfactory standard.

Actuator has been replaced = Some problem.
Speed sensor replaced = Same problem.
Battery replaced = same problem.
Gear ratios counted = same problem. (I have sent them e-mails asking why, as my suspicion is that they mixed gearboxes around, they have not confirmed or denied this)

We have now entered the fifth month, and results remain unchanged.

Currently I am struggling to get hold of Rick Rex from RDG, with no reply to e-mails and phone messages.
