Good day,
Yesterday I went to Dobsonville Mall to withdraw cash from the ATM. I met a guard who told me that dogs were not allowed. I told him that I am just going to the ATM and I will not be in the mall for longer than that.
The guard from KYA Guards (Nina Mthembu) then verbally mistreated me. I have no problem with being
told of the rules of the place, but I believe people should do everything with respect especially those working
in the public realm. I told not to address me that way.
I would like to recommend that KYA Guards trains its staff like Nina Mthembu, not to treat black people like trash especially in the townships, because they will never have treated a white lady or someone of a different colour they way they treat township people.
