I recently got married, the venue requested that I provided babysitters to take care of the children as the venue was surrounded by area's of open water, snakes & hippo's. I employed the services of Nanny - i paid upfront & on the day their were 2 babysitters. I asked that they please watch the kids between the rooms due to the open water. As the night progressed I was made aware that my son & his friend (4) were running freely between the venue's unattended, when I went looking for them I found the 2 ladies sitting watching TV, I enquired about my son & his friend. I was told they had no idea where they where, most of the night all parents looked after their own children as the 2 ladies could not be trusted. The issue comes from the level of service my concerns received from the owner of the company, when I was informed that due to the fact that I had not signed an indemnity form that her staff were unable to provide an adequate service. The fact that 1.I was never provided with the form to sign 2.that I was not informed of the fact that they would not be able to provide a service due to this puts them in breach of Contract but mostly its the safety of the children.
