On Thursday, 19th December 2013, I took my car for an full aircon service at the Cape Auto Aircon Mobile unit, on Bosmansdam Road, in Milnerton, Cape Town. My aircon was re-gassed, but was then told that my fan belt was missing, so the aircon would not work. I was instructed to go to Midas to purchase a new fan belt and then bring the fan belt back to the aircon mobile unit where he would install it for me. When I asked him how much he would charge for the installation of the fan belt he said he would do it for free, as I had already paid the R450.00 for the aircon service. On the 23rd December 2013, I brought my car to him with the new fan belt as he requested. He was busy talking to someone for about 20 minutes on his cellphone while he was dealing with another clients vehicle (bad manners I would say). Once he had finished with this client he then came to me and told me that he has no time to work on my car (despite no other vehicles in the queue). When I asked what time would be good to bring my car in, he said there wouldn't be a time and that I should take it to a mechanic, and he then proceeded to walk away from me. This man is not reliable, and doesn't stick to his word.
