In the past 3 months my family from the Netherlands send me 2 small bubble wrap envelopes with each containing a CD with family pictures etc. One CD was send during the postal strike and the other one about 1 months ago. Both did not arrive. But the last parcel I send to the Netherlands arrived at the door of my brother within 1 week. How is this possible? I'am very disappointed with the quality, service and efficiency of the SA Post. Because you cannot rely on them and every letter send from overseas - how small it might be - must be send registered. And even this takes a long time. I wonder how the service and efficiency will be during the festive season. Be prepared to loose some Christmas cards from you loved ones.
