I've had okay experiences at Sorbet but recently they lived up to their reputation for being a sausage factory run by inexperienced therapists. After a facial done in too much of a hurry, I left the store without knowing there was product still drying on my face. 10mins later, I was running errands with a centimetre thick line of brown mask from ear to ear, along my hairline. It was an hour before a kindly teller told me and I had to scrape it off with my fingernail in a parking lot. On my way home, I stopped at Sorbet to tell them. Their response? The product is invisible while it's wet! I said: then warn me, ask me to wait a few minutes or triple check you've wiped it all off before you let me leave. All three therapists at the counter responded: it's not my fault. Only a sausage factory is exclusively staffed by inexperienced and emotionally immature staff. Only a sausage factory has staff who are more skilled at selling product than applying it. What if the product left on my skin was a peel, or the therapist forgot to check the temperature of hot wax, or put a steamer too close to my skin? I've had my warning, thanks, I won't take another chance on the Sorbet production line!
