I am currently registered as an intern in clinical psychology at the HPCSA.I submitted a six-month internship programme for approval by the HPCSA, timely for the board meeting on the 23rd of May 2013; in order to receive a response prior to the start of the internship at Epworth Children's Villiage, Germiston. I would like to note that clinical psychology internships have previously been approved at this site by the HPCSA for a period of six-months. However, a timeous response was not available and I was accordingly advised by the HPCSA to continue with the programme, on the premise that I would be receiving feedback from the HPCSA any day. I have up until now, almost five months into my six-month internship, not received any adequate feedback from the HPCSA.I have a full record of enquiries, in person, telephonically and via e-mail ranging from the 08/07, 19/07, 14/08, 21/08, 23/08, 9/09, 18/09, 22/09, 23/09, 30/09, 18/10, 4/11, 511 and 8/11, not including unanswered e-mails and phone calls. During all of these events I was promised that the approval of my program would be resolved any day now.
Numerous mistakes have been made by them and their conduct has been absolutely unprofessional
