Lack masking tape on straps of cuddlers

I am a sworn only Cuddlers Nappy user, but I have many irritations with the product of 12-18kg maxi of late! For a while now in every other bag of nappies I get, I end up having to throw out 4-5 nappies at a time as a result of a piece of what looks like 'black insallation tape' above the self adhesive tab! Am I the only one to find this! However this has not made me stray from the product as this is the best nappy for my kids and not to mention my pocket :-) I just want to bring it to the necessary attention...
