I was tailgated by a K&H Freight truck between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna on Friday, 11th October 2013 at about 16h00 (direction Cape Town). The truck was so close behind me that I couldn't see the truck's headlights. He then overtook me on a double white line. Immediately thereafter, the driver passed two vehicles in front of me across a double white line. He then ignored traffic signs for trucks to reduce speed, lower their brakes, and remain in the left hand lane on the long downhill into Knysna. I was observing the 100km speed limit, and then the 80km speed limit for passenger vehicles and was in no position to take the K&H Freight number plate. I reported the incident to K&H (Pravin) this morning. Despite a promise that he would look into the matter and get back to me, I am still waiting. He mentioned the recent KZN Field's Hill tragedy as something that should not be repeated. This is unacceptable.
