On the 12th of September (4 weeks ago) my GHD styler overheated and burnt my hair after applying the GHD heat protector. It burnt so much that I had to SHAVE 3/4's of it off. Ghd have not taken me seriously by not returning my calls, blaming my hairdresser (it burnt off at my home) and shifting responsibility. They clearly did not take my case seriously as it was clear that they didn't read my email that I had sent.
My ghd has hardly been used in the time that I have had it and was in good condition.
My hair was in tip top shape PRIOR the incident.
Since this accident I have spent sooo much money adjusting to my new mow-hawk style. It has been a stress and was part of the reason I got Shingles as I had interviews to go to just after this incident.
Ghd confesses that the styler malfunctioned but have taken little responsibility as it is older than 2 years.
