I brought in a small light for repair by this place, they are on Koeberg road. The person fixing the lights, (not the most friendly of guys, I think he was tallish with longish hair if I remember correctly) gave me the hourly fee which was close to R400.
He then unscrewed the cover on my light, and the one chip had come loose and was lying on the board, he stuck it back in and the light closed. This all took about 3 or 4 minutes, I was standing there watching.
Any decent person, would've laughed it off and said no charge or maybe R20 at most if he's one of those grumpy ones. But this person demanded that he wanted a full 1 hour pay for this.
I just think this is a really awful way to treat customers.
I have since never gone back to this place and take my business elsewhere.
