I have a friend that sells avon and I decided that I would like to become a representative.
I then called the call centre number behind the avon brochure. I gave the the agent my cell number work number as well as my area. That was almost more than a month ago. I still haven't heard anything up untill today.
So I decided to try again this morning, I called the 0102055000 number where the agent was helpful enough to give me a direct cell number to a team leader in durban central. A lady by the name of Lulama. I called her at about 9am where she said that she was currently in the exact same road where I work - smith street and she would pop in in the next hour or so. She then asked that I send her an sms with my name which I did including where I was.
I waited and she didn't arrive. When I called again someone answered her phone and when I asked to speak to her I was informed that she was actually sleeping. i was extremely disgusted by this lack of professionalism as I work in clent service and its clear that neither she or avon actually want new business. I am disappointed as I was quite excited in the prospect but will definitely spread the word about the terrible services.
