We went to the Baba Indaba show at Nasrec on Saturday, 31 August 2013.
We walked around the expo in less than 5 minutes because there was nothing there of any value. They were selling hair straighteners, massage chairs, washing detergent, etc. Their website clearly says we will find everything we need for our baby under one roof. Well, there were no clothes, mobiles, bottles.
We queried why some of the exhibitors that were on the floor plan weren't at the show. I was told that that was the exhibitors floor plan and that I had navigated to the wrong page. When I went back and checked it was under the show page. They have since removed the floor plan so we can't navigate to that page again (disgusting).
When we asked for a refund we got such attitude from the staff at the show. The one guy just turned his back on us and walked away.
I have an admission from the CEO that they were disappointed in the show. But as organisers it's your responsibility to make sure you have the right exhibitors and not just any tom, or harry because you want to make money
This kind of business practice is absolutely revolting. DO NOT ATTEND ANY OF THEIR SHOWS. THEY ARE JUST FROM YOU
