Lack of service and poor attitude

We requested a tumble dryer to be repaired
We called repeatedly, eventually, were told that the drive belt was broken, later we were told that the motor was also burnt out & this too needed to be replaced
Machine was delivered back to us faulty, it was not heating
We were now told that the heating element had burnt out
They claimed this part had been discontinued and that we needed to scrap it
We took the tumble dryer to another repair shop.
Fault found: a wire on the Element was loose, this was repaired, it now works fine.
I am no electrician, but how come we were told the element was burnt out, surely they would have used a resistance tester to see if the element was faulty?
I also question the invoice, we were charged for a service and test, which clearly was not done!
I seriously doubt the ability & integrity of the staff & owner.
Tanya agreed verbally to refund the labour portion of the repair.
I confronted Tanya on the refund, at this point she told me to get out of her store & has refused to entertain any refund
She even threatened to have me physically removed by a security guard
I am not the only one who has had to deal with Tanya and her poor attitude and service
