Universal Information Systems
Spam: claiming to be calling obo UIF

I received a call this morning from 021 828 2105 the name of the person was not clear (I later realize this was intentional). The purpose of her call was to update my UIF details I asked why should she be the one doing that and not Dept of Labour, her answer was they are doing a census to check on how many people are working. Told her I am not working, asked if I am married told her that I am and she asked if my husband is working and told her he is not. After the call I remembered having received such a call last year and had called Dept of Labour and they have told me that they do not assign such a service to any company, they have walk-in offices where people can update their info. I called these people back and asked why exactly are they looking for my info, she dropped the call. I called again this time answered by Cleopatra Ncube who also could not tell what her company does then dropped the phone. She called back and still did not want to say who they are calling on behalf as a tracing company, she called Jaco to the phone whom I could here from background saying 'I don't know what I need to explain'. If this is a tracing company by law are they supposed to to customers?
