Hi. I recently got my Cell C account for this month and my bill was R1150. I was shocked! I called CELL C and they told me that Smart Call deducted R17 per day from my account. It adds up to over R500. When I called Smart Call Technology Solutions they said I subscribed the 17th April 2013. I asked if they could send me an email to show the evidence. It has been 24 hours and I haven't received anything. This is really unfair to us as customers of cell phone companies. Where do these companies (Smart Call) get our information and cell numbers? Cell C told met that they have nothing to do with this company. Now I need to pay over a R1000 this month for something I don't even know I have subscribed for. Did this happen to someone else? Please give me advise? I don't have that kind of money.
