Used the Angels driving school for driving lessons, we paid the full amount of R2408- prior to starting the lessons, only to have the indemnity form with the rest of the conditions, when we started the driving lessons. The driving instructors were changed on my last lesson with out any notification and i ended up using my own vehicle for the driving test.
I was due for a refund of R228- which i to date have not received. On reviewing the invoice i noted that i was charged for car hire on the day of the test of R480- at no point does it mention driving instructor.
When i called to find out about the R228- refund which has been delayed for 6 months, i discussed the car hire fee which i felt i should be refunded, peter (the owner) point blank refused and he used the indemnity form as the excuse, the form i only saw after he had been paid.
I asked for a compromise of 50% refund for the car hire fee but still he refused and went on to call me, in a round about way (And i quote "somebody is not telling the truth")
Very unprofessional considering as a learner driver I expected the people to treat me with dignity.
