I discovered this upholsterer while driving passed the shop on 271 Victoria Street, Cnr Oosthuizen Street Germiston and i approached the friendly owner Felix who looks very legitimate. He explained his services and his costs to re-upholster old furniture professionally which was much cheaper then all the other upholsterer in the area. His charge was R3200 for the 4 piece lounge suit with a deposit of R1500 on arrival with the furniture. He was very professional and showed us so many types of material he could use. We selected the colour, material and requested more support so the couches can be more comfortable. We paid him the R1500 on the 26 July 2013 and he told us to collect in 4 days with the receipt. On the 3 August about 11am we arrived to a closed shop after trying to contact Felix numerous times in the morning with no avail and that was when we started suspecting a. Today the 8 August at 17:15 i arrived to an open shop with our couches standing there with no work done and no one to talk to for answers. Felix was such a humble guy but now we he has us and all we can do is file a report with the police. Be careful people looks can be deceiving!!!
