Contracted LeatherAid to collect leather suite to RESTORE & RECOLOUR - were called back as the leather was splitting and flaking - on inspection, the technician admitted that the job had not been done correctly - took cushions away to re-do - returned cushions and worked 'on-site' to 'fix-up' the rest - we asked 'why are you just painting? on colour' surely this is not going to correct the situation? - have tried on numerous occasions to have this suite sorted out - it is in a worse condition than when LEATHERAID took it - and there are photographs pre treatment which showed a very pliable well looked after, creamed & oiled, although sun-damaged 'ox-blood' couch & 2 chairs - I have sent images of the flaking and have sent numerous emails to no avail - and this after paying over R7000 to be re-coloured! I am not looking for a miracle, but I am looking for some value after paying so much money - this has been an issue since December 2012 - sent mail again on 2 July 2013 and once again, ignored - absolutely unacceptable!
