Divine Spa@11
Personal possession taken whilst at the spa

This was my first (and last) visit to this spa which I purchased a Groupon voucher for&I am terribly upset at what transpired. My bag was left unattended whilst I dressed & undressed &the only person at the spa was the therapist. When I opened my purse to pay for an additional treatment I had I realised there was an amount of R500 that was "missing" from my purse. I did not confront the therapist as I was horrified that something like this could happen. I got home and retraced my steps for the day&was 100% sure the ONLY time my bag was not in my possession was when I was at the spa. I tried to contact the owner telephonically but the therapist who answered the spa telephone refused to give me the owners contact details. I then found the details from a response by the owner to another disgruntled customer online. After speaking to the owner I thought something would be done about it but unfortunately I was mistaken. I was told there is nothing that could be done as the employee denies it. I further received a call from a gentlemen stating he was the co-owner and a "senior lawyer in a law firm"&that I should "think twice" about taking this further legally or publicly (online). I feel violated
