I bought pre-paid electricity for the amount of R400 at a local supermarket but after leaving i then realised that i gave the cashier a wrong meter number which belongs to one of my relatives, so i went back to the store with the correct meter number and the receipt to claim the units for myself when i was advised to call or go to eskom offices because they (Store) cant reverse the units which i did, to my surprise i was informed by one of the employees of eskom that there's nothing they can do about it even if i haven't used the units. He then told me that it's either i go to the relative and give her the units and she gives me the money for the units that i bought to settle everything besides that it's my loss. i don't understand how i big company like this cant help us as customers with such matters. I'm very shocked and sad because i lost my money because my relative said she doesn't have that kind of cash
