Post office froze my mom post bank account and keeps saying they

Good day,
I want to enquire about an investigation that the post office say is suppose to be conducting on my mother's post bank account. She opened a post bank savings account and during the application process there were no issues relating to the account or the information she had provided, recently she was told by the post office that there was an investigation relating to her post bank account but she could not be told what type of an investigation is conducted and when is the duration of the investigation will be completed. I write to ask about what type of investigation is being conducted and how long will it take to complete the investigation, and why is the investigation taking so long to complete?
