We recently purchased a VIP full-day luxury spa package for two people, valued at a whopping R3 220 from this spa. For 3 hours (luckily not the 4.5 hours we actually paid for) we sat in a deathly silent, mouldy smelling cave. The casually dressed "therapists" had zero communication skills. The products used came from industrial size containers, the nail utensils used on us were shared between the "therapists" and kept in a big ice cream tub which they alternate when cleaning your toe and fingernails. When they bring out the "champagne" prepare your mouth to chew before swallowing. During treatments do not trust the "therapists" judgement on temperature as both the hot stones and hot water used by them in treatments will leave blisters. Their brochure may say "chocolate fondue" but expect 3 half rotted strawberries with some dry store bought choc cake on the side. If you dare complain beware of the owner "Florina", who will simply advise you that if you didn't like the treatments you should have left. She will then tell you that she will investigate your complaints and will then proceed to avoid all further communication from you.
