I purchased the 4 in 1 Bathroom cleaner and used it on my enamel bath. It ate away the enamel to such an extent that I need to re-enamel the bath. It clearly states on the bottel that it is to be used on bathtubs. It does say that its not recommended to be used on acrylic plastic. Therefore it left me to conclude that an enamel bath would be fine. I phoned the call centre and they said that it did not specifically say that it can be used on enamel so I shouldnt have used it on enamel. That is crazy... it is indicated as bathroom cleaner for bathtubs and basins. If this is such a potent product, it should not be marketed to use. Maybe I should have worn gloves and a gas mask with it as well? Absolutely pathetic Dettol!!
