I advertised an item worth R4000 on the site and was replied to by a 'gentleman' shortly after. We agreed a price and he deposited an amount in my account and it was collected by his driver. The deposit turned out to be and I lost the goods. I have since been trying to reach [URL Removed] to warn them about this character and even gave them the email address registered with the site. I have sent 2 mails and no reply has been received. I would warn others to not advertise on there - there are theives on all sites but at least they try to protect their clients - olx couldn't care.
