Accepted quote from Nico & Edna van Vuuren to replace 2 sections of lawn with weed free LM lawn. Replacement of original section necessitated due to infestation of weeds after flooding occured. R8860.00 was paid to contractor - up front 13/11/12. They had been my garden service for more than 3 years. Commenced job 14/11/12: Work was shoddy from the start. Bad soil preparation / one section was replaced with Kukuyu and when I asked why was told I had said so - NOT the case - the whole yard is LM! The grass sections were not secured by rolling, so the grass did not grow. Weed control per contract was NOT done as the weeds, a different type, is worse than what I had/ sections were left unplanted/ refuse was left behind/ a Hunter sprinkler was damaged. 14/01/13 Iwas informed they are not coming back, because I refrained from paying R237.50 for last service in December'12. I have claimed R12710.00 from them to rectify their rubbish. They ignore or dance around e.mail communication. Their cell nr: 07760792022. I want my money back as they have been untruthful about dates and service delivery since September'12. Edna told me they did their vow renewal & big wedding on 1/12/12 - my money??
