On 11/06/13 I hired the services of Ulwazi Gardens operated by Lwazi Knowledge Sibanda. The quotation was for landscaping and supplying of instant lawn which he said should be completed in 3 days. His team arrived and began the lanscaping.
As requested by Lwazi (a.k.a Knowledge) I advanced him cash on that day for payment in full for the instant lawn so that it could be ordered by him and delivered on the third day - ready for laying. He asked for a further amount in part payment so that I could help pay his workers. I agreed to pay him this on the 2nd day of his service.
On the 2nd day his employees proceeded to lanscape and Lwazi produced an invoice which reflected that the grass had been paid for and would be delivered by a company called "Heidelberg Grass". With no reason to be suspicious, I paid him the further amount as he requested the previous day. In total I had now paid him R7700. The smaller remaining amount was to be paid once the Grass had been delivered and the job completed.
Unfortunately he never showed on the third day. The instant lawn never arrived either! All my calls and messages have been ignored since then!
I now have a sandpit for a garden!
