Being haggled for a Virgin Active account

Hi there,

I emailed MBD on 15 April 2013 with the following message and have received no response :

Hi there,
I have been receiving SMSes saying that I owe Virgin Active money on an account that doesn't exist.
I cancelled my gym membership in Middelburg, Mpumalanga a couple of years ago, I will do my best to try and find my cancellation slip at home (I have since moved to Cape Town and it is packed in a box somewhere) and send it to you. If I can't find this, the gym should have records of this cancellation as I had to sign to cancel my membership.
My husband (at the time) and I both cancelled at the same time and had to approach the gym a couple of months AFTER cancellation as they were still deducting funds. A formal complaint was laid at the Virgin Active Head Office and we were assured the accounts had been closed.
Please can you try to sort this out from your side because I will NOT pay an account I do not owe and I do not appreciate the messages haggling me to pay this.

I tried calling today after I once again received a message saying action would be taken against me should I not pay before 27 April, however, there was no response.
