Charl Albasini appointed for maintenance case. He did not attend round table meeting to resolve maintenance case his colleague attended who informed client that it was not a strong case, no information was given regarding further proceedings. Charl contacted client from court on court date to enquire where client was. He was given no instruction from us to proceed with the case. I mother of client rushed to court only to be told by Charl my daughter can be held in contempt of court for not attending, I enquired as to how she was notified, he said via email and they did not have time to contact clients telephonically. On investigating I found that the email was sent to the incorrect email address, when I informed them they said we provided the incorrect address but we had received previous mails from them that were sent to the correct address. He was also not aware that the divorce decree submitted at the round table meeting, how does a lawyer prepare for a court hearing without the information from the round table meeting? I requested on numerous occasions to meet Boela (owner) and Charl to no avail, they just want payment, not interested in the facts of the matter. Pathetic
