I requested for my membership to be cancelled in December 2012.. i called and spoke to Yasmeen Williams who the gave me the following numbers to fax my letter to 011 831 2750/ 011 831 2777... I was aware that there is a 30 day notice period so i was debited a premium in January 2013..i then called back to find out if it has been Cancelled, I spoke To Precious who told me it had not been cancelled as i was given the wrong number's... i then forwarded an email to her & asked her to get it cancelled, she told me i will be debited 01 February becos of the 30 day notice period. I specifically told her I WILL NOT pay as it was not my fault that the wrong information was given to me by LIPCO.. I want this sorted out, if Lipco Debits me again in Feb i will report it to the Ombudsman without hesitation...
