My medical aid did not pay an outstanding fee at MAPONYA MALL Torga Optical for my spectacles.
So I was send to their legal department (Schulenburg Attorneys) which a lady called and demanded me pay my outstanding account of R570 plus legal fees of R400. I made arrangements on my 3rd call with her to pay between R100-R200 per month since I'm a student till I settle my account. She agreed and informed me off all the interests that will accumulate, since I can not afford the entire amount I agreed to pay the additional interests. So she further asked for my email address to send me the agreement and I gave her and confirmed it on the phone. Which she did not send till today, this was on the 8th of July. Two weeks later a lady by the name Mrs Basen from Schulenburg Attorneys call me saying I must pay the entire amount by the end of the day. I told her I made a payment of R200 as agreed with the other lady on the 8th July and she said a note was not made and I told her my call was recorded she must follow up on it to show that I made an agreement and both parties accepted. But she insisted that she is going ahead any to send my name to the credit Bureau.
