I received a mail from BidorBuy saying that I had failed to complete a sale:

I specifically mailed the seller on 7 Jan to ask if I could cancel the transaction. and he said it was not a problem at all. I have the emails as proof, but I was still issued with a warning. When i tried to call, the person on the phone just explained that it didn't matter, but then why did I get a warning? If it doesn't matter, why have the process in place. If it does matter - I should not be penalised for doing something I had permission for - I specifically mailed the seller and he cancelled the transaction for me - so how do i get a warning anyway?
Not happy at all. The process is not explanatory, and seems as if it doesn't work anyway.
